Last night, a group of us attended the “Suits and Sneakers” talk by futurist John Sanei in Sandton last night and were thoroughly impressed by some of his ideas and thoughts around the impact of technology on our lives going forward.
Many of us become guilty of being focused on the “here-and-now” rather than the looking for the opportunities that might be evolving in front of our eyes. If we can grasp the trends, we can identify ways to deploy capital to participate in the growth of new sectors.
Drones and the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” are popular topics at the moment and in his talk, John Sanei references the below TEDx Talk by Andreas Raptopoulos of Matternet who are using drones to moves critical goods and services around.
