The current fight between JSE-listed insurance group Old Mutual and CEO Peter Moyo has put both parties in the spotlight for the wrong reasons. For those following the case, Old Mutual opted to terminate Moyo’s contract due to perceived governance issues, Moyo fought back and was re-instated and this has created significant unhappiness between shareholders, executives and staff.
