An entrepreneur and a design and user experience expert, Paul Galatis is the founder and CEO of Names & Faces, a Y-Combinator-funded visual employee directory tool.
Names & Faces was born out of Paul’s frustration when joining teams and offices, not knowing who is who in the workplace. Available as an app and on the web, the platform creates visual employee directories for companies of all sizes, allowing fellow employees and employers to find and get to know the people they work with.
Names & Faces provides context on the people you work with and allows you to reach out when you need to. Galatis acquired funding for the startup from Y-Combinator, the same American seed accelerator that has funded the likes of Dropbox and Airbnb.
Paul spoke to Fred Roed on the Heavy Chef Show about his personal and professional journey, his latest venture and what inspired the visual employee directory tool.
